JL Mudd Elementary School

As a newly honored lighthouse school, JLM celebrated Leadership Day!  With a student-led assembly hosting about 100 guests from our JLM community, many skills and talents were shared.  Our guests were first introduced to how we are “Building Leaders” through the 7 Habits and then enjoyed a performance from our world famous Muddettes.  After a short leadership video and awards, our guests visited classrooms and enjoyed a performance from our choir.  We took time to recognize some very special people and listened to a parent share how the 7 habits are practiced at home.  Before leaving, JLM parents and students planted a flower that will be a reminder in our outdoor classroom of our very special day!
