🎓✨ Today was a truly special day at Flint Hill Elementary as we welcomed back our North High graduates for their Grad Walk! Our hallways were filled with cheers, high-fives, and happy tears as our former Firebirds returned home to the nest—walking the same halls where their educational journey began. 💙🔥 What an inspiring moment for our current students to see such incredible role models and celebrate all the hard work, dedication, and dreams achieved. 💫 Once a Firebird, Always a Firebird. 🌞 Mrs. Cross’s kindergarteners start their day with a warm morning welcome, setting the schedule, reviewing learning goals, and building number sense through their daily math calendar! It’s such a joy to see these young Firebirds beginning their day with routine, purpose, and smiles.

Our FHE 2nd graders are busy building number sense! Using base ten blocks, they explored how to decompose and compose numbers in the hundreds — and showed them in multiple ways! 💡 Through collaborative partnerships and inquiry-based lessons, these young mathematicians are developing a deep understanding of numbers. 👏

🚀✨ Third grade was plugged in and ready to go at our STEM/Coding stations today! From solving real-world STEM challenges to exploring interactive coding games, these students were totally engaged and loving every minute of it! 💻🔍🧠 🛠️ Problem-solving 🎮 Interactive coding games 🤖 Collaboration and creativity on full display!
