What a busy week at JL Mudd! Our Read-A-Thon fundraiser raised just over $5,000! We have had some special events this week to celebrate.

Do you know someone turning 5 years old on or before July 31? It's time to get ready for Kindergarten registration! Fort Zumwalt will welcome the members of the Class of 2036 and their families in person at 14 elementary schools from 2 - 7 p.m., March 1. Information and paperwork will also be available online at go.FZSD.us/Kindergarten

This week we are celebrating our amazing counselors at JLM!
Mrs. Salvo, our school counselor, is always ready and willing to help students and families with anything they need.
We also are excited to introduce our newest addition to the team, Mrs. Rockey! Mrs. Rockey has quickly jumped right in lending a hand in many different ways. Thank you ladies for all that you do every single day!

JLM students and staff got creative on the 100th day of school yesterday!

TONIGHT: Be a part of Mapping our Future.
Committee work on the Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP), began last month as a part of the sixth, and most recent, Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP 6). The steering committee has been gathering data and conducting surveys to help define the focus of its work as Fort Zumwalt creates its guiding document for the next three years.
At the meeting tonight, participants will hear from the committee about its work so far and have the opportunity to ask questions about the CSIP process and the district’s goals.

More from Reading Buddies!

Great things are happening over at JLM & FPE! Reading Buddies was a success as students and teachers were able to meet up and read together! We loved welcoming FPE into our 1st grade and kindergarten classes! Our 2nd graders got to go on a little adventure over to FPE to read with 3rd graders!
